This summer discover the Ons Island

The Ons Island is the main island of a small archipelago named the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia, famous for the octopus and its unique beaches. It is a must if you come to Galicia this summer. From Simply Galicia we offer a guided route every Monday and Thursday of the month of August. You can not miss it!

You will discover the Ons Island with a hiking trail and enjoying a day at the beach. The service we offer includes bus transportation, the official Spanish / English tour guide and the boat round trip. All for 50 euros! In addition, children between 3 and 12 years will travel at half price and children under 3 years will travel for free.

The itinerary will be as follows:

• Santiago de Compostela: departure by bus from Santiago at 9:15 am
• Portonovo: at 11.00 am boarding at the port to leave for the Ons Island in a 40 minutes journey with great views.
• Ons Island: arrival at 11.40 hours. Upon arrival we will make a guided hiking route of approximately one and a half hours on the Island, included in the National Park of the Atlantic Islands. On this walk we can enjoy the wonderful landscape of this Galician paradise. Free time for lunch and the rest of the afternoon will be to enjoy the crystal clear beaches of the island or to make another hiking route.
• At 17.30, departure by boat to Portonovo. Panoramic view from the boat.
• Portonovo: arrival at 18.10 hours and departure by bus to Santiago de Compostela.
