Five excursions to fall in love with Galicia

Galicians like to boast about what is ours, we can't deny it. Gastronomy, music, culture, nature and architecture make our beloved Galicia a unique place. If you have any doubts, we assure you that in just five excursions we will make you fall in love with all that our community has to offer.

Excursion to the Rías Baixas: from Pontevedra to Cambados

With departures everyday in August and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in September and October, the excursion to the Rías Baixas will offer you a tour of its most tourist attractions.

We will get to know Pontevedra and get lost in the streets of one of the best preserved historic centres in Galicia; we will be surprised by the picturesque landscape drawn by the hórreos (raised granaries) and cruisers in the streets of the small town of Combarro; we will rest on the fine sand of the Blue Flag beach of A Lanzada; and we will discover the charms of Cambados. In addition, we will have to add a boat trip along the estuary with a visit to the mussel rafts on the island of Tambo and a tasting on board of this product and wine.

Excursion Costa da Morte: from Ponte Maceira to Muxía

Our official Spanish/English tourist guides will tell you everything you need to know about such mythical places as the fishing village of Muros, the Ézaro waterfall, Fisterra and its lighthouse, Muxía or Ponte Maceira, considered one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Until October, we will have daily departures and you can already book your place.

Excursion of the cliffs: from Vixía de Herbeira to Santo Andrés de Teixido

The coast always has that touch of mystery in the shapes of its cliffs. This year we are launching a trip that takes in some of these places. Among them, we can mention the fishing village of Cedeira, the sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido, the cliffs of Vixía de Herbeira or Cape Ortegal. If you want to discover this new excursion, you are still in time to join it any Sunday until the end of this month.

Excursion through the Ribeira Sacra: Ourense, viewpoints and catamaran ride

Until September, every Monday and Friday, we discover the Galician hinterland. This outing begins with a relaxing catamaran ride with tasting in the Sil Canyons. After this we will visit some of the most interesting viewpoints of the Ribeira Sacra, as well as the Monastery of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil. Finally, we will get lost in the historic centre of the city of Ourense.

Vigo in a day

Only on Mondays in August, we'll head to the city of Vigo to discover some of its most interesting places, such as Monte do Castro Park or the seaport. We will also get lost in the beautiful town of Baiona and visit its impressive castle.
